Tarot Workshop: The Swords

This tarot workshop will focus on one of the suits of the Minor Arcana: The Swords. Tarot decks comprise four minor arcana suits and one Major Arcana, the Fool's journey through life.

We will discuss the vibe of the Swords and dig deep into the rich history and symbolism of the Rider-Waite deck. In addition, we will compare the Rider-Waite deck to another popular deck.

There will be five workshops in total. The first four workshops will focus on a Minor Arcana suit, and the final workshop will focus on the Major Arcana.

Each workshop will also incorporate another tarot deck to compare and contrast an artist's perspective to the original Rider-Waite deck.

I will provide Rider-Waite decks, but I will link the decks I will use additionally if you want to purchase them.

Friday, September 13th: The Swords (using the Rider Waite and Tarot of Mystical Moments)

Friday, September 20th: The Wands (using Rider Waite and 5th Spirit Tarot)

Friday, September 27th: The Pentacles (using Rider Waite and Gay Tarot)

Friday, October 04th: The Major Arcana (using Rider Waite and Sacred Rebels Oracle)

The workshops are $60 individually, or you can buy the whole series for $250, a savings of $50.

Again, I will provide the Rider-Waite deck, and the comparison deck will be on a projector. These are amazing decks, and I encourage you to purchase them separately and bring them to class. If you own a mysterious deck, bring it! Comparing your cards to the traditional Rider-Waite deck will be illuminating and fun.
