About the event
We will discuss the vibe of the Cups and dig deep into the rich history and symbolism of the Rider-Waite deck. In addition, we will compare the Rider-Waite deck to other popular decks.
There are five workshops in total. This is the first of the five workshops. You can purchase all five workshops for $275 or participate in one for $60. To purchase all five for $275, go to this link: Masterclass Tarot Workshop.
This event can be part of the series or act as a stand-alone course.Â
Each course comes with a Tarot Workbook and Rider-Waite Tarot deck.
Each workshop will also incorporate another tarot deck to compare and contrast an artist's perspective to the original Rider-Waite deck.
I will provide Rider-Waite decks, but I will also link the decks I will use if you want to purchase them.
Friday, September 6th: The Cups (using Rider-Waite and Lightseer's)
Again, I will provide the Rider-Waite deck, and the comparison deck will be on a projector.
These are amazing decks; I encourage you to purchase them separately and bring them to class.
Or, if you own a mysterious deck, bring it! Comparing your cards to the traditional Rider-Waite deck will be illuminating and fun.
In the past, my workshops were designed to give an overview of the tarot deck, providing learning anchors that rooted you in the meaning of the cards while giving you the confidence to read more intuitively rather than relying on the book of meanings.
You will still receive learning anchors in this workshop, but we will dive much deeper into symbolism in the tarot that comes from multiple disciplines.
We will focus on a new suit every week. Here is the schedule. You can order tickets for all sessions or pick and choose!
Friday, September 6th: The Cups (using Rider-Waite and Lightseer's)
Friday, September 13th: The Swords (using the Rider Waite and Tarot of Mystical Moments)
Friday, September 20th: The Wands (using Rider Waite and 5th Spirit Tarot)
